The Foundation's main mission is to provide the development of information technology for education and science in Russia and their integration into world system. Priority activity directions - development of the computing environment, support of creation of directory resources in interests of development of information technology for education and science.

The Foundation is governed by:

• The President of Foundation appointed by sponsors. The President supervises over activity of Foundation as a whole.
• The Executive Director of Foundation appointed by the President of Foundation in coordination with sponsors. Executive Director of Foundation will organize current activity of Foundation.
• Scientifically-methodical counsel of Foundation defines directions and the maintenance current and perspective activity of Foundation.
• Experts of Foundation provides examination of acting projects and ideas and form ideas for decision making.
